Professional Background

Mr. Anderson is a Partner at Adams Capital, LLC in the Denver, Colorado office.  Mr. Anderson’s previous experience with Adams Capital includes: privately held business valuation, quantification of discounts for lack of marketability, fairness opinions, and FLP valuation.  While with Adams Capital, Mr. Anderson has focused on valuation for gift & estate tax planning and business succession planning.

Mr. Anderson has experience in financial reporting valuation including engagements related to purchase price allocation (ASC 805), impairment testing (ASC 350 and 360), and common stock valuation for stock option expense recognition (ASC 718).

Mr. Anderson’s industry experience includes manufacturing, chemicals, consumer goods, healthcare, telecommunications, technology, textiles, not-for-profit, real-estate, and natural foods.

Prior to joining Adams Capital, Mr. Anderson was employed as a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young LLP.  At Ernst & Young, Mr. Anderson worked in the assurance group performing the annual audits of mid-cap public companies in various industries.  Mr. Anderson has experience working with accountants, transaction groups, and audit committees in the review of opening balance sheet procedures for “fresh start” accounting, purchase accounting, and other various valuations.
